LCE Present at the Wired Sussex Event: VR/AR for the Built Environment

Gareth Evans of LCE gave a talk last night for Wired Sussex at New England House, Brighton as part of the VR/AR for the Built Environment event. Speaking on the use of VR at the early stages of design, Gareth explained how being early adopters of VR, LCE have progressed and how we are using the latest VR technology throughout our design process.

Using the case study of a recent feasibility project, Gareth spoke on how using VR was helping inform design decisions and shape the way the practice works. “By stepping into our projects at the earliest stages of design we are using the unique perspective that VR offers to resolve design choices quickly and experience spaces in real time”.

It was an exciting event that showcased some of the newest technologies and how they are being used as well as giving an introduction to the possible futures of VR.
