Nick Lomax presents at PechaKucha Event

Nick was a contributor to last week’s Brighton PechaKucha, following on from his highly successful  contribution last year, which made the International web site in their November (2016) News letter. In honour of the World Architecture Festival in Berlin that month, they put together a “blueprint” of 10 architectural presentations. You can watch all 10 on the following link including Nick’s presentation “Around the World in 20 Buildings”.

Last week’s subject was on “Peeps” and Nick chose to talk about ‘the impact of good building design on our wellbeing’, a subject close to his and the Practices’ heart.

For those unfamiliar with PechaKucha 20×20, it is a simple presentation format where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically and you talk along to the images. The presentation format was devised by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Klein Dytham architecture, where you have a number of presentations in an evening. The first PechaKucha Night was held in Tokyo in 2003 but now take place in over 900 Cities around the World.
