LCE were appointed by a large London developer to build out an existing planning application for this new luxury river side residential development. This existing industrial site is located in the old town part of Isleworth southwest London on a bend in the river Thames and has affords long views up and down the river bank including Syon Park and Kew Gardens.
This secure gated development consists of 19 apartments ranging from one bedroom apartments to 3 bedroom penthouse apartments, each provided with river views, private balconies and on-site parking facilities.
To maintain LCE’s sustainable approach to construction technologies a timber frame construction with very high levels of insulation was adopted for this project along with solar shading via balconies and large eaves overhangs to all large glazed areas on the primary elevations.
As well as providing the detailed and technical design for the structure and building envelope LCE worked closely with the developer’s interior design team to specify and deliver high quality interiors to all apartments including solid oak wood flooring throughout, Philippe Starck fittings in all bath and shower rooms and high specification Kitchens and appliances.
